Stuff I Did To Help My Community And Junk

For my community service project I chose to work with Boulder Creek High School’s politico club. The Politico club at Boulder Creek is in charge for any sort of political happenings in the school or generally around Anthem. The club is responsible for helping Boulder Creek and its students more influential in the political scene to help create a new generation of informed voters. For the community service in the politico club, we were in charge of putting on a political panel to allow state district representatives a place to argue about the issues and help keep our local community informed during the November midterms. Our club worked hard to get the state representatives out to Anthem, calling and calling them until they finally gave a secure straight answer. Too put on the panel itself took a lot of planning work. First we needed to be sure we had permission from our principal to be able to use the auditorium and give a specific date that we could use it. We also had to make sure that the time that we were allotted to used the auditorium was able to coincide with the times available with the campaigners. Luckily though we were able to get the date organized and figured out so we could figure out what would actually be happening at this panel. We began working on questions that we would like to ask the campaigners dealing with the contemporary issues. I personally thought that our political panel was a hit and it gave me an opportunity to talk with some people whom I would not ordinarily talk to. All in all, it was a fun time.
